We envision HOPECITY as a bridge between belief and practice—where faith is lived out with courage, compassion, and clarity in everyday life.

Our mission is to create space for young adults to encounter Jesus, wrestle honestly with faith, and learn how to live out the gospel in the gray areas of real life. We are committed to forming authentic community, cultivating spiritual growth, and serving our city with love and purpose.

WHAT IS HOPECITY lyh?
HOPECITY LYH is a young adult parachurch organization creating space for people to explore faith, build authentic community, and learn how to follow Jesus in real life. We exist for those navigating adulthood, questions, and the gray areas of faith.
IS HOPECITY lyh A CHURCH?
HOPECITY LYH is not a church — we are a parachurch ministry. That means we come alongside the local church, not replace it. We partner with churches and create spaces for connection, discipleship, and community outside of Sunday services.
WHO IS HOPECITY FOR?
HOPECITY LYH is primarily for young adults (roughly ages 18–40), but anyone seeking honest conversation, community, and spiritual growth is welcome.
DO I HAVE TO BE A CHRISTIAN TO SERVE?
No. You don’t need to have it all figured out — or believe everything we believe — to be a part of HOPECITY LYH. Questions, doubts, and curiosity are welcome here.
WHAT DOES “LIVING IN THE GRAY” MEAN?
While our beliefs are rooted in Scripture, we acknowledge that life and faith are often lived out in complex, gray areas. HOPECITY LYH creates space for honest conversations about real struggles without shame or pretense.
IS HOPECITY LYH AFFILIATED WITH A SPECIFIC DENOMINATION?
HOPECITY LYH is non-denominational and centered on the life and teachings of Jesus. We value unity within the broader body of Christ.
HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?
You can get involved by showing up. It’s that simple. Find us, join us and serve with us. Opportunities will grow as the community grows.
DOES HOPECITY LYH SERVE THE COMMUNITY?
Yes. Serving the city is a core part of who we are. We believe faith should be lived out through action, compassion, and tangible love for our neighbors.
